**DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 12TH DECEMBER 2025**
Labour’s Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire, Clive Grunshaw, has announced that he is opening applications for the MP Grant Funding Programme which aims to support local organisations in delivering initiatives that enhance community safety.
Through the programme, Lancashire MPs are eligible to apply to the Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire for up to £50,000 to support community-led safety initiatives in our constituencies, funded by money seized from criminals through the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).
This funding means we can put criminal proceeds back where they belong; into the communities most affected by crime.
This programme will support the delivery of the Police and Crime Plan for Lancashire 2024–2029, which focuses on four key priorities, all of which align closely with this Labour Government’s Safer Streets mission.
These priorities include:
- Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls
- Tackling Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour
- Getting Tough on Serious Violent Crime
- Rebuilding Trust and Confidence in Policing
I welcome applications from community organisations and voluntary sector groups for projects that can deliver on these priorities and help create safer, stronger communities across West Lancashire. No application too small. Grants from £500.
To apply, please fill in the form below and send it to my email account on ashley.dalton.mp@parliament.uk by midday on Wednesday 22 October. DEADLINE EXTENDED to 12TH DECEMBER 2025 Please clearly start the title of your email ‘MP GRANT FUNDING PROGRAMME‘.
