My story
I am a mum, a carer, a cancer survivor and a proud Lancashire lass.
I grew up just outside of West Lancashire in Leyland. I spent 25 years working with grassroots communities in local government. My life has been about helping residents and improving their local services, and I am proud to do the same now as your MP.
In July, the British people voted for change. People on the doorsteps here in West Lancashire told me that they had enough of the Conservatives taking them for granted.
Labour are delivering that change, focusing on improving the economy, securing our borders, and fixing our NHS.
As your MP, I’m committed to standing up for you. Whether it be holding Lancashire County Council to account for the potholes on our roads, or working with the Government to better protect our communities against flooding, I am on your side.
Each week after the close of business in Parliament, I come home to West Lancashire to work from my constituency office and spend time with my family.
